Thinking of riding the Goldfields Track?

Check out this article about Tasman Nankervis, who road the Goldfields Track in April this year, in one go, and to do it in the Fastest Known Time (FKT). He did this to raise money for the La Larr Ba Gauwa Bike Park in Harcourt, which was partly burnt in the January bush fires.

And he did the whole Goldfields Track, from Mount Buninyong to Bendigo:

‘In the end, I finished in a moving time of 9hrs 39mins and 56sec and an elapsed time of 10hrs 8mins and 57sec with a total average speed of 21.4kph over an elevation of 3,757m.’ Amazing!

We love this quote: ‘What I love most about these rides is the adventure; in a single day, you truly feel like you’ve lived for a week, and I love seeing how the terrain changes. I’d ridden the majority of these areas but never strung the whole thing together. Now it felt like I was getting the ‘gold rush’ as I explored the area’s riches.’
