Short Visits

Don't have long?
Try a short visit.

As amazing as it would be to take off on a multi-day adventure, sometimes we only have one or two hours. Why not try one of our short walks or bike rides on or near the Goldfields Track?

If you’re walking with kids, or just want something easy, check out our short walks and look for the ‘Family friendly’ icon next to it.

And if you’d like to get out for a ride, but haven’t got all day, have a look at the great short rides and bike parks, all easily accessed from the Goldfields Track.

'Oh, the places you'll go!'

The Goldfields Track passes through the Country of two Traditional Owner groups, four Shires and many towns. There’s a lot to explore and to share. Below are just some of the organisations that may be of interest to you:

Acknowledgement of Country

The Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung People are the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land and waters over which the Goldfields Track passes. The Goldfields Track Committee pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
