From February 4-8 2015, the 62nd instalment of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour, Victoria’s oldest and most prestigious stage race, will deliver five days of frenetic world-class racing on two wheels.
You can be part of the action on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 February, as it winds its way through the Macedon Ranges, Mt Alexander and the City of Greater Bendigo.
Catch all the start action at the Mt Macedon Hotel on Thursday. Riders will proceed down the mount, do an 8 km loop before climbing back up past the hotel for the first hill climb of what will be a tough opening road stage for the event.
The race will pass through Kyneton, Malmsbury and Taradale, before tackling Mt Alexander, then onto the fast and thrilling finish in the heart of Bendigo. Bendigo will include a 6km loop, so great spectator opportunities.
Stage 2 departs from the Tom Flood Velodrome in the heart of Bendigo. This day starts with a great opportunity to fans to see their heros in action as they parade around the track before heading out for what will be the best chance for the sprinters to grab a stage win.
The stage will travel through Strathfieldsaye past Lake Eppalock and the little village of Redesdale. Riders will cross the 150 year old, historic bridge as they head to Heathcote, then its on to the finish in front of the striking statue to Nagambie's most famous resident, Black Caviar, overlooking the majestic Lake Nagambie.

Start time on both days is 10.30am, with an estimated finish time in Bendigo of 2.40pm and in Nagambie of 1.40pm.
